Adapted on the basis of the first and second editions ofChinese Paradise,this is a series ofinternational Chinese teaching materials specially designed for non-Chinese primary school students.The new edition has 6 levels in total, covering Chinese language teaching in primary schoolsoverseas from grade 1 to grade 6. The content and form of this set are in line with childrens cognitivelevel, and the themes are close to life. 崔永華（主編），北京語言大學教授。1981年畢業(yè)于北京大學中文系，獲文學碩士學位，此后一直在北京語言大學從事漢語教學和研究工作。曾在美國歐柏林學院、美國明德學院暑期中文學校、德國哥廷根大學、英國謝菲爾德大學任教。主要研究領域為：漢語教學、漢語語法、中文信息處理。主持和參與編寫的著述與教材有：《對外漢語課堂教學技巧》（主編）、《詞匯文字研究與對外漢語教學》（主編）、《對外漢語教學的教學研究》（文集）、《對外漢語教學設計導論》（獨著）、《漢語教學名家文選·崔永華卷》（文集）；《小學中文》（主編）、《新概念漢語》（主編）、《實用漢語分級閱讀叢書》（總主編）等。張�。ㄖ骶帲本┱Z言大學文學博士，編審。北京語言大學國際中文教育研究院兼職研究員，曾任北京語言大學出版社董事長、總編輯。從事國際中文教育教學資源開發(fā)與研究20多年。主持教育 部課題1項、校級課題2項，主持財政部、科技部、新聞出版署等省部級工程開發(fā)類項目5項，創(chuàng)辦了《國際漢語教學研究》學術刊物。在《中國出版》《科技與出版》等刊物發(fā)表論文20多篇。主持開發(fā)的面向海外教育體系的漢語教材有《天天漢語泰國中學漢語教材》（被泰國100多所中學選用）、《漢語樂園》（被翻譯成47個語種）、《輕松學中文》（進入美國5個州的教材體系中）、《新實用漢語課本》（被世界200多所大學選用）等20多套。被評為全國文化名家暨四個一批人才；全國新聞出版領軍人才；2015年、2017年全國新聞出版業(yè)互聯(lián)網創(chuàng)新人物；主持開發(fā)的《漢語樂園》（多媒體光盤）獲得第二屆中國出版政府獎。
Cui Yonghua, editor-in-chief, is a professor at BLCU, who has been devoted to Chinese languageteaching and research in BLCU since 1981 when he graduated from the Chinese Department of PekingUniversity with a Masters degree in Literature. Mr. Cui used to teach in Oberlin College (the US), theSummer Chinese Program of Middlebury College (the US), the University of Gttingen (Germany),and the University of Sheffield (the UK). Cuis research mainly focuses on Chinese language teaching,Chinese grammar and Chinese information processing. Having been engaged in the development and research of teachingresources for international Chinese language education for more than 20 years, Zhang has presidedover one project of the Ministry of Education, two university-level projects, and five provincial andministerial projects of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Pressand Publication Administration, etc., and has founded the academic journalJournal of InternationalChinese Teaching.She has published more than 20 papers inChina Publishing Journal,ScienceTechnology & Publicationand other journals.She has developed more than 20 sets of Chineselanguage teaching materials for overseas Chinese education system, includingEveryday Chinese:Chinese Course Book for Middle Schools in Thailand(chosen by more than 100 middle schools inThailand),Chinese Paradise(translated into 47 languages),Easy Steps to Chinese(incorporated intothe teaching materials systems of 5 states of U.S.A.), andNew Practical Chinese Reader(chosen bymore than 200 universities around the world). Zhang has been honored as one of the national CulturalMasters and Four Batches of Talents, the national leading talent in press and publication and thenationalinternetinnovator in press and publication in 2015 and 2017. Meanwhile, theChineseParadisewithmultimediaCD-ROM she presidedoverhaswon thesecondChinaPublishingGovernment Award.
